Q4 · Property / Camp Ownership
Is the camp leased or owned?
ARC question: For the camp on our own land: is it leased from a family member or owned by the company? Is there any possibility for the company to own the land and installations?
Current structure
- Main property assets are held within Tromsø Arctic Reindeer Eiendom AS.
- These assets are leased to the operating company.
Why this structure exists
- Property is separated from operational risk.
- Provides asset protection and flexibility.
Future flexibility
- The group is open to reviewing whether selected land / installations should remain in a separate property company or be transferred into the operating company.
Management commentary — recommended structure
- Current preference is not necessarily to force all property into the operating company.
- A separate property company with long-term leases may be the better structure.
- ARC / future owners need security of tenure and clarity.
- Johan Isak and family's long-term interests in the reindeer operation must also be protected.
